Jimmie Johnson held off a late race charge from rookie Denny Hamlin to win the Subway 500 at Martinsville Speedway Sunday afternoon. A good pit call gave Bobby Labonte track position and he held on to finish third followed by Tony Stewart, and Jeff Gordon. Kahne outruns Johnson at Lowe's Motor Speedway

Kasey Kahne took his sixth win of the season Saturday night in the Bank of America 500 at Lowes Motor Speedway. Kahne swept both event this year at LMS as he also won the Coca~Cola 600 earlier this year. Jimmie Johnson finished second followed by Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Bobby Labonte. "We had such a great race car all night long," Kahne said in Victory Lane. "The blue Mopar paint scheme again...we've been so close with this car here at Charlotte and we finally got that win. ....
