NOTES:
* This week's race truck for Homestead-Miami Speedway is Chassis No. 23-73. Truck No. 23-73 was last run at Texas Motor Speedway. The truck was running in the third spot when the engine expired relegating the team a 31st place finish.
* What a Year… Bill Davis Racing has had a banner year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The organization has won six races, or 25 percent of the races held this season. The team's eight pole positions means a BDR truck has led the field to the green flag in 30 percent of the events. Johnny Benson leads the series in top-five finishes (13) and top-10 finishes (17). His teammate, Mike Skinner, has led a series-best 870.45 miles and is hoping for his ninth consecutive top-10 finish this weekend.
* Welcome Back… Exide Batteries serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 23 Bill Davis Racing Tundra team in the season finale. This will be the fourth time this season in which Exide Batteries has performed primary sponsor duties.
* Trackside Live… Benson will join fellow Toyota Tundra driver Todd Bodine on the Speed Channel's "Trackside Live" Friday, Nov. 17. The show is produced live in the Corporate Display Area of the speedway. Check local listings for air time.
* Championship Hunt… With the team's fifth win of the season last week at Phoenix, Benson has closed the gap on Craftsman Truck Series points leader Todd Bodine. Benson's team is only 112 points out of the lead with one event left remaining in the 2006 season.
* Listen and Watch … The Ford 200 is scheduled to start at 8:05 p.m. EST Friday, Nov. 17. It will broadcast live on Speed (TV), MRN (radio) and XM Radio channel 144.

"I am really looking forward to Homestead. We had a strong truck there last year and were battling for the win all day. We finished third, but we knew we had a truck good enough to win. It is a great race track where you can race side-by-side every lap.
"This has been an awesome season for this No. 23 team. Our goal before we went to Daytona was to finish in the top 10 every week. We have certainly come close to doing that. This team has proven to be a championship caliber squad. We have done all we can do, and that is all I can ask. Two mechanical failures late in the season have hurt our chances at the championship. It has been Todd's year. Whenever he has bad luck, so do we, and we are not able to capitalize. Our Tundras have been strong all year, and I am proud to be a part of the Tundra family. [Crew chief] Rick Ren and all the guys on this team should hold their heads high knowing we have had a great season. I am already looking forward to next year and seeing if we can vie for the championship again."
