No. 40 TEAM FACTS:

* Check it Out: This Sunday David Stremme and his teammate Casey Mears will be two of the three drivers featured in the new show NASCAR Drivers: Nonstop. The show will air on ESPN2 this Sunday at 10 p.m. and will give a behind the scenes look at life off the race track as well as what Stremme does on a typical race weekend.

* Off-Season Appearances: Even though the race season ends this Sunday, it will not be the last time you can catch your favorite driver Stremme. Stremme and his crew chief Steve Lane will be at the annual Stocks-For-Tots event on Tuesday, December 12th. The event will take place in downtown Mooresville, and both will be signing autographs from 7-9 p.m. For more information please check out http://www.stocksfortots.com

* Racing, Inc.: Chip Ganassi Racing will be the focus this week in a SPEED TV special called Racing Incorporated which will take viewers inside the business of racing with a close-up look at the motorsports operations of team owner Chip Ganassi. The pair of one-hour specials will air this Wednesday, Nov. 15 and Thursday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. ET & PT (re-played at 11 pm ET). Racing Incorporated was given unprecedented access by the team to its race shops in Indianapolis, Ind., and Concord, N.C., over a several weeks this past summer for a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of Ganassi's IndyCar, NASCAR, and Grand American Sports Car Series operations.

* Chassis: Crew Chief Steve Lane and the No. 40 crew are taking chassis No. 621 for the event this weekend. This is a brand new race car for the final event of the 2006 season.

* The Fighting No. 40 Team: Stremme and the No. 40 team have fought hard throughout the 2006 season to improve their starting and finishing averages. In the first five starts of the season, the No. 40 Dodge averaged a 35th place starting spot and a 33rd place finishing position. In the last five races leading up to the season finale the team has a 22nd place average for starts and finishes.

* Looking toward Miami: This will be Stremme's second NEXTEL Cup Series start at Homestead-Miami Speedway; he has four Busch Series starts. His average starting spot is 17th and his average finish is 20th. His highest start of third came in the fall of 2003 and his highest finish is also third in the spring of 2005, both in the Busch Series.

* Rookie Ranks: Stremme is currently sixth in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings. With 162 points, he is 132 points behind leader Denny Hamlin and only 24 points behind fifth-place J.J Yeley.

* NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings: Stremme is currently 34th in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver standings. The No. 40 Dodge maintained the 33rd position in the owner standings.

David Stremme Quote:

"It has been a long season. We have definitely had our share of ups and downs on the No. 40 team but I am so proud of these guys. We have worked together as a team and we have had some solid finishes this second half of the season.

"I am looking forward to going to Homestead-Miami this weekend. We have a new car that we are taking down there and I am looking forward to racing it. The Coors Light team is hopefully going to get our first top-10 finish of the season this weekend."
