SEASON FINALE SHOWDOWN FOR ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Heading into the last race of the season, John Andretti and fellow rookie, Danny O'Quinn Jr. are deeply entrenched in a heated battle for the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year Honors. After leading the point standings for 10 weeks, O'Quinn tied them up after Memphis. This is the first time in the history of NASCAR's three national series that the rookie points have been deadlocked heading into the last event of the year. Andretti and the #10 RVs.com/Camping World/ dnx Drilling team are ready to make up some ground this weekend and regain the lead going into Phoenix.

Andretti and the team are excited to welcome new associate sponsors, Dyno Nobel and their Florida subsidiary, dnx Drilling on board the No.10 this weekend. Dyno Nobel is a leading supplier of commercial explosives and blasting services to the mining, quarrying, seismic, and construction industries and is the market leader in North America. dnx Drilling, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dyno Nobel located in South Florida, supports Dyno Nobel's current activities in the Florida and Bahamas markets.

The RVs.com/Camping World/ dnx Drilling Team is taking chassis #44 to Homestead-Miami Speedway. It's the same car Andretti raced in Texas just two weeks ago and Kansas and California earlier this fall where he finished 15th, 23rd and 29th respectively.

Holding steady in the 13th position in the Busch Series driver point standings, Andretti is just 186 points away from the 10th position, held by Reed Sorenson. The #10 team is 18th in series owner point standings.

JOHN ANDRETTI ON HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY

"I think the new track configuration makes for better racing. It added more side-by-side racing and obviously it's faster. It has banking now, and I think that makes it easier to drive and to race. It is more 'aero' dependant and more car dependant than the old track where you really had to figure out how to get your car to turn. The corners were so flat on the old track. You were on the gas, off the gas, on the brake, moving pedals and that's more of a challenge for the driver. The spectators seem to really like this new track. It's a track that is so wide that you can run nearly wide open around it with a Busch car. And, really, that's the biggest thing we are working on at ppc Racing. We are going to make our biggest gains at aerodynamic tracks."
