Notes:
* SPECIAL PAINT SCHEME: Kimberly-Clark's KLEENEX® Facial Tissue and VIVA® Paper Towels brands will feature a holiday theme on Brewco's No. 27 Ford this weekend in the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The flashy, holiday, paint scheme is designed to coordinate with package graphics on KLEENEX® Facial Tissue and VIVA® Paper Towels. "This year, the ornaments will be something fans recognize as the colorful tissue boxes and paper towels they can put in their bathroom, kitchen, or any room of their homes," said driver Casey Atwood. This is the second year in a row for the "Ornaments on Parade" paint scheme.
* Brewco Motorsports begins its 11th year competing in the NASCAR Busch Series. Brewco is coming off its most solid performance in the series, having placed two cars (No. 27 and No. 66) in the top-ten in points (eighth and tenth respectively) in 2005.
* In four starts at Homestead, Atwood has a pole (1998) and one top-15 finish.
Casey Atwood on Homestead:
Did you know: Atwood took the pole in his first Busch Series race at Homestead in 1998, finishing 14th.
"I don't know why I like it this track so much: I usually like flat tracks. The first time I came here in the Busch Series in 1998, I'd never even seen the track before and I put the car on the pole. It's just a track that I adapted to well right off the bat. Some tracks you can do that, and some tracks you can go to seven or eight times and still not know how to get around there. I have tracks out there like that too, but Homestead has always been good to me.
"We want to finish the year with a bang for our sponsor Kimberly-Clark. We've done some cool things with them this year with special paint schemes and other track activities that involve all of their brands. We know we really need to have a strong run here in Homestead and get our ‘Ornaments on Parade' Ford Fusion in victory lane.
"I'm glad I had the opportunity to be a part of this Brewco/Kleenex® team in 2006. It's been great working with our sponsors and the Brewco guys. I'm looking forward to this Saturday's race."
