PERFORMANCE BASED: Tim Goad, pit stop coach and jack man for the No. 77 Dollar General stores Chevrolet visited the Athletic Performance training facility while in Phoenix, Arizona. Goad was invited to tour the facility and meet with the training staff. The facility trains professional athletes from a variety of sports and houses the latest in athletic development training and dietary schedules. The facility staff works with a dietary supplement brand called EAS, which is also a sponsor of Kevin Harvick Inc. Goad is scheduled to return to the facility in January to watch other athletes train and gain useful knowledge for our pit crews that go over the wall during races. Every member of the KHI teams that go over the wall for a pit stop are on a scheduled workout and conditioning plan, set by Goad. Each day the teams are at KHI, they condition and practice pit stops.
